yadhav500 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Dhoni and Dilshan on the same boat here. Dilshan chose to bowl first on a flat belter.
adi B Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 tbh even if the aussies get a 100 runs lead, i`ll still be little confident bcoz of the fact india will bat 3rd nd in the 3rd day mostly, i would prefer india batting 3rd rather than chasing anything 4th
Cricket Tragic Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Picking Chawla was not Dhoni's decision. Blame Vastu Venkat for that.
adi B Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 i remember in the 1st test in windies 2006, india batted first conceded a lead of 130 odd...had to bat 3rd in the 3rd nd 4th day nd scored 520 odd, so the morale of the story is constructing a target after cutting off the lead is much better for india contrasted to chasing 4th in 4th day
Ultimate_Game Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 No matter when you bat you still have to make runs. So far our batsmen can only do so on a video game set on easy mode.
