Very perplexing decisions by MSD

Dhoni's decisions on team selections (eg Piyush Chawla), batting order (order in which batsmen were sent in some of the ODIs), and toss decisions (bat first on a green pitch) are very perplexing. Either he just likes to go against the commonly accepted things to do in cricket or he knows something that no one else knows. And as I type, Gauti out on a green pitch, good ball.

Well you would expect quality openers to play out the first hour and then make merry once the ball is old, i dont think there was anything wrong with the decision of batting first. Gambhir is in such a woeful form, he just cannot put bat to ball.

you cant win the toss and field, especially on the back of a heavy defeat. it would a big psychological boost for the ozzies, they would think we got these scared indian p*ssies on the back foot already.

As bad as Ponting's idea to bat first at Leeds. Lets see though what the team can do about it. The idea of being 'positive' while ignoring ground conditions (real life conditions such as form etc, not just the pitch) is rubbish. What happened to being pragmatic ?

with ball swinging,Indian batsmen in bad form, bowlers doing well, the man chooses to bat:hysterical: :(( now not only we will get out for 150 our bowlers will have to bowl wen its a belter

Always bat first if your batsman lack form. You eek out more from the 2nd innings.
but that'd be too little too late

His decision to persist with failing players is indeed perplexing. If India lose this test match, I personally think he needs to be replaced as test captain by someone else. But question is who... Sehwag is not quite qualified to be captain

kuch bhi....there is nothing wrong with the pitch....dumb batsmen who keep on scoring 500 runs on Indian pitches cant bat in a normal pitch now...ridiculous to blame captain for the toss ...

I tried to think and couldn't really justify any current replacement.

191 all out,now a belter for our bowlers to bowl on. msd:hail:
If we had bowled Aussies out for 191, we would have been bowled out for 200 odd. Don't blame the captain's decision because our pathetic batsmen got exposed.
