fineleg Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Dhoni's decisions on team selections (eg Piyush Chawla), batting order (order in which batsmen were sent in some of the ODIs), and toss decisions (bat first on a green pitch) are very perplexing. Either he just likes to go against the commonly accepted things to do in cricket or he knows something that no one else knows. And as I type, Gauti out on a green pitch, good ball.

Gambhir is in such a woeful form, he just cannot put bat to ball.

The idea of being 'positive' while ignoring ground conditions (real life conditions such as form etc, not just the pitch) is rubbish. What happened to being pragmatic ?

jusarrived Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 all we had to do was play out the first hr ..and honestly , it was not such a difficult pitch to bat even early on.
