chainsmoker1985 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 And bring A Mithun for the perth test in for R Ashwin
krupaksk Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 We should be prepared to play ugly and draw the test. As much as it leaves a bad taste in my mouth to say the following, we need to follow pak / misbah approach for next test. Safety first. Time to stop these mind numbing losses.... Draw in Perth will be a win for me with this team. My heart wants an Indian victory. Will wait for it........

ganeshran Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 That's an rkt 11 and not an India 11. Hope is life :om:
Vijay.Sharma Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Ashwin should open. He is second highest run-getter from India, ahead of Dravid, Laxman, Sehwag, Gambhir, Kohli, Dhoni!!!No kidding. He actually started his age group career as an opener and only when he excelled as a spinner did he switch to spin as his main department. He has all the makings of a decent batsman
Karan114 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Let's see if all the hype is justified. Kohli was touted to be our next Test class batsman, but as it turns out, he is yet another flat track bully.
CG Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Rohit sharma will bat better than our other youngsters as he is better technically and has time to play quicks and most importantly is not scared of the short ball.
SachDan Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Pattinson ruled out of remainder of the series with a foot injury @plalor Breaking News: James Pattinson out of the Perth Test, Ryan Harris and Mitchell Starc in the squad. Foot injury, out of series Peter Lalor (The Australian's cricket correspondent)
BERGKAMP Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 sad news, i was hoping he would be the man to put the final nail in a few of the indian coffins.
Karan114 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 sad news' date=' i was hoping he would be the man to put the final nail in a few of the indian coffins.[/quote'] Don't worry, Ryan Harris is an even better bowler and will do that job at Perth.
rabinjackman Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Now we will lose to a third string attack
rabinjackman Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 or this could be a strategy of the BCCI to enable THAT milestone :winky: ( PJ )
rkt.india Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Let's see if all the hype is justified. Kohli was touted to be our next Test class batsman' date=' but as it turns out, he is yet another flat track bully.[/quote'] SCG was a flat track too especially after day one.
achilles Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Would you believe it! A spearhead is missing and they replace him with a young turk. Now the replacement is injured and will be replaced with another replacement. And in the midst of all this, we are still losing.
Karan114 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 SCG was a flat track too especially after day one. So you're saying he's even worse than a flat track bully? :giggle:
rkt.india Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Don't worry' date=' Ryan Harris is an even better bowler and will do that job at Perth.[/quote'] Lets see if he lasts the test first thing first up. He has not lasted his last 2 tests. I can see Starc playing if they think Harris may not last. I am missing Patrick Cummins. Isn't he fit yet? I wanted to see both Pattinson and Cummins bowl in tandem.
