Kean0 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Laxman is and was a very talented batsmen. His most amazing attribute was to handle pressure when it mattered. I dont know how many times this mans saved India. Brilliant under pressure. Cricket will miss him, Australia wont =)
Needforspeed Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 We will have the pleasure of watching him play for the next 10 years maybe. He has categorically denied any retirement plans.
Needforspeed Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 has he retired from ODIs yet? I dont recall him making any official statement regarding ODIs. Dravid has.
Dravid_TheWall Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Right now he has no IPL team. The Kochi Jokers are no more. From the statements coming in the press it doesn't seem that anyone is going to retire. Maybe the oldies will take the field in a wheelchair. I am sure BCCI will get ICC to amend the rules accordingly. :haha::haha::haha:
Needforspeed Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 A comment by someone on Laxman's retirement in Yahoo Cricket : Can he justified his place in the team,,I think not ,BCCI will not drop him, because BCCI do not care how bad the team does aboard, cause when they come back to India its will be business as usually, and because BCCI is controll by south people...Laxman should drop himselp for Bharata Mata..but these people think they are GOD and only think about themself.... :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Rameshraja17 Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I am not sure whether this is true. but he deserved a better stage to retire. Some of his heroic test wins against austraila will remain in our hearts for ever. ITs time for him to move on but he deserved a better occasion:hatsoff:
Vikas Bhatt Posted January 27, 2012 Author Posted January 27, 2012 So will it be thanks for the wonderful memories for all 3 big guns or will BCCI give them all one farewell series against Sri Lanka?
rkt.india Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 I am not sure whether this is true. but he deserved a better stage to retire. Some of his heroic test wins against austraila will remain in our hearts for ever. ITs time for him to move on but he deserved a better occasion:hatsoff: He made it miserable for himself.
IKnowU Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Why is Laxman getting picked on? Thats just sad, he was the best match winner we have. If anyone should retire, it should be the big three together. Fans trying to make a scapegoat out of him so their fav senior and sneak a few more series before his name gets called up.
