Chandan Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Link So what will England's attack be, if Hoggard is ruled out? Sidebottom, Anderson Broad Monty ???
suma25 Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 what other bowlers do they have for back up.....? they should have called up onions as well.he did pretty well against us in the warm ups... this is dissapointing...if india go to win this match and thats a big 'if" they will say it was against weaker english side...
Predator_05 Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 If that is the case, then India should play out of their skins to win this test. They won't be facing such a weak bowling attack in the next 3 tests so this is their best possible chance to win a test and start 0-1 up. This is a second-sting bowling attack, FFS.
Donny Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 what other bowlers do they have for back up.....? Chris Tremlett is in the squad already.
The Outsider Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 I think it's going to be a futile exercise following this test match. With the flat deck at Lords and London weather at it's best it looks like a draw to me.
coffee_rules Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Indians with a similar attack in WI 2002 lost the series. So, one can never guess how Indians will perform on the road. OTOH, Lord's might be a road. :haha:
kumble_rocks Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 ^ very true. England attack lacks the bite to get 20 wickets in this pitch.
Dhondy Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 You can sense Shwetabh getting optimistic, can't you? A couple of days ago, he had completely written off India. Now he thinks it'll be a bore draw. Hey, that's progress!:hysterical:

gs Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Kisi ne supaari diya hai kya? Almost all the first string English bowlers are down with injuries!
coffee_rules Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Kisi ne supaari diya hai kya? Almost all the first string English bowlers are down with injuries! Nahin, English bowlers are getting inspired by NZ players and Munaf Patel.
Chandan Posted July 18, 2007 Author Posted July 18, 2007 Second string attack or third string or whatever! India will have to take 20 wickets to win a match. And I doubt that Indian bowlers can take 20 wickets!
