Number Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 both ashwin and ojha should play at Adelaide. Ishant and other pacers are hopeless.
Needforspeed Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Dhoni is already out. Heard that he is banned from next match for slow over rate.
deathmonger Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 both ashwin and ojha should play at Adelaide. Ishant and other pacers are hopeless. yes ashwin ojha zaheer umesh we played bhajji kumble last time.

shinchan Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 But the match ended in 2 and a half days n still he got the ban :haha: :hysterical: He can argue that he made up for slow over rate by getting out quickly in both innings :hysterical::hysterical:
Needforspeed Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 More interested in weather updates. Need rain in Adelaide for 4 days at least.
tothepoint Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 But Sachin is looking in fine touch and has scored more than any other Indian cricketer. He should play as long as form prevails. Corrected. And I know this sounds absurd but if he will fail in two more innings his average in Australia/away will also drop considerably <- something which will affect his legacy tremendously.
saneindian Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 What a way to start by making Sehwag the captain. If that decision is not final, rest sehwag and let Rahane open in his place. My 11- Gauti, Rahane, Dravid, Sachin, Kohli, Rohit, Saha, Ashwin, Zaheer, Ojha, Umesh Let GG lead the side.
deathmonger Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Corrected. And I know this sounds absurd but if he will fail in two more innings his average in Australia/away will also drop considerably <- something which will affect his legacy tremendously. i don't think so. the sample size is huge. even with his failures in england he still avgs 60+ and here he is doing better than in england.

Not correct. His average in England has dropped to mid 50s(54.3 to be precise). He is averaging 55.3 in Australia as of now. Sachin averaging 60+ in both Australia and England used to sound so much better.

Dont agree with your points regarding huge sample size as well. He has played just 19 tests and 17 tests in Australia and England respectively. Performance in 4 tests would alter the figures significantly.
tothepoint Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Need rain in Adelaide for 4 days at least.
Dhonuts Dhoni Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Damien Martyn was not given a farewell Michael Slater, Greg Blewett, Matthew Hayden were not given farewells Mark Waugh was not given a farewell Martin Crowe was not given a farewell Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis were not given farewells To hell with farewells! Good post. But remember that Ian Healy never got a farewell. It affected him so much he now spews inane **** for a living (aka he's a channel 9 commentator) These are the risks you take.
khanjee Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Actually not a bad idea. Gambhir Rahane Dravid Tendulkar Laxman Rohit Virat Ojha Zaheer Ishant Yadav lol great idea tics but who is your keeper? lol Dravid?:haha::haha::haha: i'm sure your team will change after couple of defeats..
