NO source .That's how I feel about his retirement issue .He has served Indian cricket a lot .he will turn 40 this april . u hit the nail head on... nobody wants to admit Sachin needs to go...selective blaming is going on for all other players and everyone wants to shield Sachin for no use... there is no need for him to be in Indian Team....youngsters should be given chance...he can continue playing first class cricket and in IPL as long as he wants to satisfy his hunger to play... but our national team needs youngsters ... they will come good sooner or later like KOHLI...why let them rot in bench forever to satisfy all these oldies...

I would prefer Sachin to play till England series and Dravid and Laxman to retire now.But its not a big deal if he retires after this series either. But the important thing is Sachin shouldnt stay beyond the England series.If he doesnt want to retire for the benifit of the team then he should just be kicked out.Hope he retires with dignity and for the cause of the team and not doesnt hang around for personal records and damage team's prospects.

..um...maybe... but on a serious note we have 2 series before eng one to get youngsters a chance to learn in test cricket. they wont fail in eng series

Care to see SRT's performance since the start of the England tour and compare it to RD and VVS. He averages lesser than RD and not much more than VVS in those 11 Tests thus far and you want RD and VVS to go but want Tendulkar Bhai to stick around for another 2+ years. Wonder why? Me thinks your moniker and blind hero worship that goes with it has got to do a lot with it.
