Alchemist Posted March 5, 2012 Author Posted March 5, 2012 have you considered executive MBA programs? If your company can give you a little bit of time off for residential modules and trips, then EMBA is a good option and also opens up a lot of choices for you rather than relying on nearby insitiution (which I don't know what it is) On the negative side, EMBA puts a lot of stress as you have to work 20-25 hours per week on top of work (unless somehow you can find time to finish projects while working) Morning/Evening MBAs could take too long to complete (36 to 48 months) vs EMBA (usually 12 to 18 months) In a few months, I would be pursuing FT 12-month MBA at an Ivey league B-school (rated as the best in Canada by many) Actually trying for Online MBA through good schools.

zen Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Actually trying for Online MBA through good schools. Good way to go about it if you plan to mix work with MBA ..... But note that it could be a lot of hard work (and stress) as you may be required to put in 20-25 hrs on top of your work hours
zen Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 btw, i informed my company abt my plan .... last few weeks at work :P also have to do some pre-MBA reading and work on re-location .... the work is cut out for me
Holysmoke Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 'an MBA' http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Do_you_say_a_MBA_or_an_MBA
DomainK Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 'an MBA' http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Do_you_say_a_MBA_or_an_MBA Yup, if mba was a word, it would have been "a mba", but since it starts with a vowel sound (The pronunciation of M starts with "a" or "e"), it would be "an MBA"
