Old guy Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012  How many more threads do we need for this upcoming Tendulkar . will get a 100 tomorrow! this is for celebration of that hundred :two_thumbs_up:
Number Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 List A avg. 36. FC Avg. 63. Still he has played 70 ODIs and not even a single Test.
jairamesh Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Upcoming Tendulkar needs to open, Rohit is ideally suited to open.
Ultimate_Game Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 He will win us the series and as jairamesh said he should open. He's too good to fail for long.
saneindian Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Needs to go back to number 5 with MSD coming in at 4. Has won us matches batting at 5 and will do so again. At 5, the added responsibility of batting with the lower order helps him curtail the high risk shots and put up big scores and see the team home as he did vs WI in the last two series.

At 5' date=' the added responsibility of batting with the lower order helps him curtail the high risk shots and put up big scores and see the team home as he did vs WI in the last two series.[/quote'] i rather have him go for the high risk shots, especially his pull shots (he's the best at playing the short ball from the current bunch), and the high risks will pay off more when opening.
