saneindian Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Starting with some baffling decisions 4 pacers, Jadeja over Ashwin and then serious sloppiness in the field dropping catches, missing run outs..It was as if the team was just not switched on for today's match, the captain looked confused and it showed in the tactical blunders he made on the field. Adn then the batting caving in once again against some good controlled swing and seam bowling. The batting lineup needs to change, Raina out, Tiwary should comein and the captain needs to bat higher in the order. Jadeja has not done anything in the 5 matches so far and should be replaced with Ashwin for the rest of the matches and Irfan played as the all rounder.

Raina has still looked better and scored runs, played a crucial knock in Adelaide. Rohit has been useless, 2 dropped catches as well.

When you need to take wickets he was bowling with part timers and Zaheer's quota was finished by 40th over. First of all bowling only 2 pacers in first 10 overs is wrong. He should mix the bowlers in that PP because that is the time when ball moves and if first 2 does not get wickets, make change which he did not.

We were looking in control till them, 29 overs, 120/3, game in balance. MSD lost his cool, argued with Billy and then from then on the game completely slipped out.

It was Hussey hwo made the difference in the end.
