One big factor why we won 2008 CB series was that we had bowlers like Ishant and Sreesanth who were bowling well and fast, both consistently 140+. Then we got a lot of confidence in league games in that series. I think, we defeated Australia twice in league games before the finals and we were confident in the finals that we could beat Australia. Other point, if Varun Aaron was in the team ,then he'd have played in Perth alongside Ishant and Umesh, and we wouldn't had to play that useless trundler VK in that match. Playing Varun might have made the diff. Could have been the fastest attack from India as well.
