Mariyam Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 I see you dont have the sense to see the difference bewtween an act of war and systematic extramination of people belonging to a particular ethnicity. How on earth was Hitler's act a 'mistake'? shame on you for trying to justify the holocaust for any reason, even if it is to put down America. This is the exact logic used by some Pakistanis when they condole islamic militancy. and just to make my point clear, Hiroshima was one of the worst things to happen in human history. But, if you wanted to condenm that, you would have started a thread on that. Not a thread praising Hitler. And no, there is nothing 'popular opinion' about my hatred and despise of Hitler, its just that I believe I have an ounce of humanity in me TOP POST :two_thumbs_up:

I must start by pointing out that your premise itself is wrong when you talk about putting someone down. Frankly, I don't even need to do that. Half the world does that. So half the world lacks humanity and should start a thread to say that? Like I said, I'm not supporting Hitler, neither are you holding a brief for America. He's an azz for the ridiculous things he did. But why not extend the same courtesy to US? Why not call it an azz for decimating Japan, meddling in the affairs of Vietnam, dividing Africa and causing violence in South America, funding mujahids to disband Russians, then coming and destroying the country of the same guys whom they created, fiasco after fiasco in the Middle East. But yes, humanity asks you to look another way when Uncle Sam does something. It is convenient to apply humanity to one instance and then call it a mistake when our pet nation does it. I'm shocked that someone as learned as you chooses to have a flexible humanity. I'm sorry, I'm human, I don't have a flexible humanity and an azz is an azz for me. There is nothing shameful in being fair. Try it.

Displaying the kind of outrage that even Oscar Schindler never showed. :haha: Except for a few posters, noone even bothered to examine the points in the OP and immediately denounced it as a 'nazi thread'. Noone's claiming here that the holocaust was a good thing ! But now its all about being the "good person" and earning that pat on the head for denouncing hitler regardless of what the real topic is.
hari504504 Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 great logic. Next you'll say that Dawood Ibrahim was an ok chap too. Everyone is just fixated with the 93 blasts and no one appreciated his style statement- trademark goggles and the cigar. Meh humbug!!! Hypothetically if Dawood was a huge philanthropist, what is wrong in discussing that part of his life ? That shouldn't be making someone symapthetic to the bombay blasts, what is wrong is wrong - but that is not what is being discussed ! . Maybe it does in the school of warped logic

Its like people are under pressure to denounce him, as everyone does that. However, MTC deserves credit for atleast talking, unlike the Mullahs, who claim to know all, but vanish from the thread the moment their logic is questioned. I repeat for the 5th time in this thread, for everyone's benefit. I have no love lost for Hitler, and I don't hate US. All I have is a simple logic - Whoever makes a mistake, makes a mistake. I don't make it an ego issue to call America's bluff and no part of me dies when I state the truth.
achilles Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Good people do bad things, agreed. But bad people do good things too. There is something to learn from everyone.
