Vijay.Sharma Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 On a similar theme as that of Sir John's thread but with a twist. This is harder than you think The Rules - Pick one side for Tests and one side for ODIs. There must be one and only one player from each country But you can pick 2 players from only one [articular country provided you make one of them the captain Only the 10 Test playing nations can be used for both Test and ODI elevens Very importantly, you must have actually watched these players play (on ground or on live TV) My teams: Test XI Graham Gooch (Eng) Graeme Smith (SAf) Ricky Pawning (Aus) The Buddha (Ind) Andrew Flower (Zim) - wikky Shakib Al Hasan (Ban) The Niazi (Pak) - cap Malcolm Marshall (WI) Wasim Akram (Pak) Richard Hadlee (NZ) Muralitharan (SL) ODI XI The Buddha (Ind) Sanath Jayasuriya (SL) Herschelle Gibbs (SAf) Javed Miandad (Pak) MS Dhoni (Ind) cap and wikky Shakib Al Hasan (Ban) Chris Cairns (NZ) Andrew Flintoff (Eng) Heath Streak (Zim) Shane Warne (Aus) Joel Garner (WI) Edit - I changed Richard Hadlee from Shane Bond in Tests and re-ordered batting line-up for ODIs

daryl1985 Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 you're suppose to pick only one player from each team or one has to be captain . Gilchrist would captain the ODI side. Would swap Shakib for Tamim Iqbal in the test side and Hayden for Ponting with Ponting becoming captain. Sorry about that.
