I wonder if Ashish Reddy can develop into something - his SR this List A season was quite high. The above people mentioned were for ODIs.

I remember both playing only 1 decent ODI knock - JP in the game where Bond raped us and Bangar chasing in A'bad in 2002 (which pretty much got him a WC spot). What I remember about JP Yadav is not his cricket but his interview where he spoke about the high and low he experienced in a short time. The guy got called up to play against the WI. Flew business class, checked in to a five star hotel, gave several interviews and all that. Felt on top of the world. He made a duck in his first game (Aggy vs Sarwan match) and got dropped. He couldn't get a seat on the train home and slept on the floor.

Prabhakar was quite good, esp with his bowling. We had some allrounders who were quite good at one discipline but not very good at the other such as Nikhil Chopra, etc The second class was the bits-and-pieces players such as Bangar, Robin Singh, etc
Vijy Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 where is abhishek nayyar I've seen Nayar bowl and he's definitely a trundler who serves up hit-me balls. If he is to be selected, it must be on the basis of his batting alone, and his List A record indicates that he is far too inconsistent.
