CC1981 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 OK flip flop Repeating yourself doesnt make you right- you are calling me a flip-flop despite me presenting the case against it- simply because it makes it easier to keep worshipping your now-fallen God.
Holysmoke Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 I'd drop Sachin and give the #4 spot to Ganguly' date=' #3 to Laxman and bump Dravid to #6. #5 i'd rotate Yuvraj and Tiwary before either one establishes themselves.[/quote']:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
CC1981 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Whats so funny? Sachin doesnt deserve to be in the team anymore.
Holysmoke Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Whats so funny? Sachin doesnt deserve to be in the team anymore. and ganguly does? might as well bring back deep dasgupta :hysterical:
CC1981 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 and ganguly does? might as well bring back deep dasgupta :hysterical: Ganguly does more than Sachin in tests IMO. Sachin would be the next to be dropped because Ganguly has been dropped and his peformance since the drop is pretty good- Sachin has this 'holy cow' complex- he needs to realize that he wont be rested but DROPPED if he doesnt do his job.
CC1981 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Thats the key word. That is the key word in every discussion. Duh ! There is less logic to support Sachin's continued presence in the team without being dropped for a series or two.
Holysmoke Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Ganguly does more than Sachin in tests IMO. Sachin would be the next to be dropped because Ganguly has been dropped and his peformance since the drop is pretty good- Sachin has this 'holy cow' complex- he needs to realize that he wont be rested but DROPPED if he doesnt do his job. Sach's performance after a rest, is better than Ganguly's after the drop. (IMO) Anyways, I dont want to waste my time arguing with you, everyone knows why. Your opinions are for urself, dont expect others to agree.
CC1981 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Sach's performance after a rest, is better than Ganguly's after the drop Against minnows, maybe. Against majors, he still stinks up the place and fails to average 50 in a series. dont expect others to agree. Okay..but just how long does Sachin have to bat like a 'minnow-bashing former great who is mediocre against quality opposition' before we get the picture that he is no longer batting like a great and deserves the chop ?
talksport Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Somebody is desperate You comment on Big Man You make headlines
Predator_05 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 cc are u on drugs?? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Only the recreational kind...:thumbs_up:
CC1981 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 cc are u on drugs?? The ones who are on drugs are the ones who think Tendulkar still deserves a spot automatically in the middle, despite failing to average 40 against any decent opposition (ie, not bangladesh or zimbabwe) in six of his last seven series (not counting this series- it isnt over yet- another typical 'tendulkar of recent times' performance and he would make it 7 out of 8 where he's been dismal). If the former King doesnt average 50 this series,he deserves to know that he should be banished from the test team.
King Tendulkar Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Only a few weeks ago you were telling us he should not be dropped and he is the master. You just argue for arguments sake. You actually dont believe in anything and just like to take up the cornrered tiger role and test your debating skills. You are flip flop
CC1981 Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Only a few weeks ago you were telling us he should not be dropped and he is the master. From the ODI team he shouldn't be dropped- i've been saying for MONTHS now that Tendy should be dropped from the test team if he doesnt average 50 in England- and he already averages less than 40 in his true 'Tendulkar of recent years' style.
Anakin Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Kapil's cricketing brain apparently is as good as his english.
