Ezilkannan Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Hussey wouldn't like being dropped. He would want to show his mettle at the finals since he got out with a low score in the previous match.
Sidhoni Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Making 20(22) on a flat track when you are replacing CSK's highest run-getter :headshake:
GautiMaan Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 ^ But he's a solid player,he showed that in Q1,i would want him to counter Narine
J P K Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Hussey can make way for him :agree: do u really think faf will play narine ,iqbal and shakib better than hussey ?
Sidhoni Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 do u really think faf will play narine ' date='iqbal and shakib better than hussey ?[/quote'] When it comes to Narine, Faf will be better as he is a right hander. Abdulla and Shakib might find it better to bowl to Faf. But Narine > Abdulla + Shakib
Sidhoni Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Naman Ojha has the privilege of watching Vijay's IPL 100s at close quarters, while keeping wkts for RR and DD
Ezilkannan Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Hmm, maybe Dhoni will indeed bring in faf. We will have to wait and watch. Btw, Chennai have opted not to train at the MAC stadium while KKR will start their training by today evening.
Sidhoni Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 We saw what Morkel did yesterday after being sent in before Bravo. He is not that good betting first. Good only when chasing :agree:
Sidhoni Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 This should be the team(in batting order) - VJ Faf Raina MSD Bravo Morkel Jaddu Badri Ashwin Jakati Hilfenhaus
Ezilkannan Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 This should be the team(in batting order) - VJ Faf Raina MSD Bravo Morkel Jaddu Badri Ashwin Jakati Hilfenhaus Badri could be sent in before should there be any disaster at the start.
Sidhoni Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Badri could be sent in before should there be any disaster at the start. Agreed. Lets hope there isn't.
Sidhoni Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 MS Dhoni’s batting average against the Kolkata Knight Riders is an incredible 120 from six innings; his scores against KKR are 43*, 40*, 66*, 29, 34* and 28.

Executioner Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 it will be sucide to pick faf because faf has mostly played pace bowlers in the tournament and looked quality against them but KKR has the best spin attack in the tournament so I think Hussey will fare better not to mention hussey has experience. Also, hussey being a left hander will be able to play out sakib and abdullah making it easier for da batsman to come
JourneyMan Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 You can't drop Mr. Cricket for the finals. Much more experience than Du Plessis at the highest level, definitely the kind of player you want in the finals. There's a simple formula in sports: never change a winning team.
daryl1985 Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Hussey will def start. CSK have to attack KKR's other bowlers to have a chance. No-one has solved the mystery of Narine yet. One problem for CSK will be who opens the bowling with Hilfenhaus. They can't open with Jakati as Gambhir will murder him.
yoda Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Like I posted elsewhere, for Chennai to change their starting lineup, we need to hire Sehwag and/or Darty as a consultant. :hahaha:
