Dravid has set the ball rolling. The fact that he did not even care to 'walk of the field' or 'play a farewell series' because that would not be the right reasons to continue playing adds another feather to his cap. I hv never been as sad for any players retirement as many of them continued to play past the point when they should hv retired ..... Srinath was another one. His case was more like he was forced to continue to play becoz of Ind's lack of options let's see if SRT and Lax follows Dravid's footsteps or someone like Kumble's, where many feel he probably played a series or two more ....

So now SRT should do a Rajnikant on the cricket field to pull audience. Just like a bald 60 year old Rajnikant is still in the movies maybe SRT should do the same on the field. After all who cares about the results and it's all about popularity and revenue. i think you would fit right in with BCCI :two_thumbs_up:
