Kedar Jadhav hardly bowls so he has very little chance to grab the No.7 spot. And Yuvi's gonna return in 5-6 months as well (hopefully).

I think he has not claimed for ODI cap but for test cap due to his FC performance, but our silly selectors select wrong player for wrong format. How many chances they have given to Shikhar Dhawan who could have become some batsman if had given chances some 4-5 years ago, but now he is just subdued to just domestic level.

Shikhar Dhawan has to fight it out and be consistent again. I don't mind if Rahane and Pujara play Tests exclusively and are not force-fit into ODIs. That way they'll suffer less burnouts because everyone will eventually play the IPL anyway.

But Shikhar Dhawan has not given any chances in ODIs and Shikhar Dhawan is one of the most successful List A batsman. He played 5 ODIs and most of them in WI where pitches are not easy to bat for an opener. His List A average is 40 as an opener.

A lot of players have List A averages that are even higher, such as Mukund, who's an opener and averages even more. The fact is that Dhawan looks more like a domestic god than a genuine ODI player.

Dhawan has been in poor form this season and will have to make a comeback. I think any opener who performs consistently in the domestics will have a shot at an ODI cap soon, but no single opener has been a standout this season.

Really disappointed with the pitch at Dharmshala. Its a belter in IPL and even here it proved to be road. Wonder why they make barren tracks there as due to its latitude, the balls will always get some carry and encourage good stroke play. Leave some grass and encourage good bowlers please.

West Zone batting line-up looks very impressive. Wish they played more games in the Deodhar. 2 games are ridiculous. Anyhows, happy for Pujara two fifties on the trot. Really hope Pujara and Rahane get go at Tests. Also looking forward to the development of Mandeep Singh and Surya Yadav.

Agreed. Pujara and Rahane have been finally turning in some performances this season. Mandeep and Suryakumar are both Test prospects as their FC records are much better.
