SLICKR392 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 The Pakistan side has been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during its 21 runs victory over Bangladesh in the opening match of the Asia Cup cricket tournament in Mirpur, Dhaka on Sunday. David Boon of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees imposed the fines after Misbah-ul-HaqÃÔ side was ruled to be two overs short of its target when time allowances were taken into consideration. Misbah was fined 40% of his match-fee for the offence while the rest of the players were docked 20%, but Misbah will face a suspension if his side have another over-rate transgression in an ODI in the next 12 months.
