Sachin is a temple of hypocrisy. Conceded that he is one of the best of his generation, but that doesn't mean he wastes a position in the line-up for ONE bloody year, chasing a personal record. It is rather fitting that he scored it against Bangladesh And it is even more karmic that for the nth time in his career, he couldn't steer his team to victory. However, I doubt if he even thinks that way anymore.
He shouldn't have bowled those full-tosses and missed those catches  You are right!

There has to be some sort of review for the coach. It's been a year already and we haven't seen anything from the coach so far. Why exactly is he still the coach :dontknow: If you want to have a coach for the sake of it, hire me instead. I would come cheaper than the fatso and can't possibly do any worse.

Then don't defend the indefensible. It was not such a difficult call to make that innings was wrong.
Nobody is defending indefensible. Sachin should have paced his innings better, no doubt about that. There was serious error of judgement about what a good score by both Kohli and Sachin in that match. They should have shown more sense of urgency the way they did in next match against Pakistan. Also, I showed you with hard numbers that somehow Kohli's innings also showed trend of getting stagnant in middle of the innings. There was a mistake but that doesn't mean that you react so much over the top and say that is most disgraceful thing ever to happen.

I personally never expected such an innings from Tendulkar' date=' and was surprised by his reaction/media interaction after the game when we had just lost the game to B'desh. [b']There wasn't even a hint of disappointment or regret at losing the game. Sad part is not many find the incident upsetting.
You are not very good at reading people's reactions by looking at their faces.

I wonder how long before someone says "Whenever Kohli scores a big century in a tournament' date=' India fails to even make it to the final". :D[/quote'] you are late:

I wonder how long before someone says "Whenever Kohli scores a big century in a tournament' date=' India fails to even make it to the final". :D[/quote'] It used to be a myth. Now its materializing with facts to show, one series at a time. Glad that he scored just about 100 in first match of WC. :hail:
