Well, it started off with the 96 WC defeats where many Indian fans couldnt digest the fact that the Lankans are no more the pushover and apparently still... and they return in kind.

As for non-subcontinental venues, SL is 3-14 against India in Aus, NZ, SA and Eng. It's all well and good to say Loins are no pushovers but we have yet to see any evidence of it. Maybe the Loins will prove they are no "pushovers" by fielding a 2nd XI against bangbros and getting hammered :hysterical:

peterparker Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 many people out here are acting like loosers by saying, we got what we wanted, a wc holding team doesnt deserve such fans...fact is if bangladesh wins nd reach the finals, they`ll surely lose to pakistan.. so the fact of the matter will be pak will be the asia cup holder ie snatching from us, it`ll make them the best team in asia, it`ll improve their rankings nd degrade ours... we must hope to play pak again nd win again, its same like in asian games in guangzou, india defeated pakistan in group stage, but lost in semis to malayasia , nd over that pakistan won the gold medal there nd automatically qualified for olympics... or similar is pool fans after beating united thing they have achieved a lot for the season nd are content with that, but united end up with the trophies.... main thing is trophies nd medals how do you say tht if BD reaches final, PAK is default winners? has west pakistan also taught lessons in FIXING to east PAKISTAN :haha:

I have interacted with many Sri Lankans. They are nice and rather laid back sort of people and they dont really hate Indians...Neither do the Bangladeshis. In fact in people to people interactions, I found that the only neighbors who really hate us are the Pakistanis..thats hardly surprising.
