This is something i really want to overcome.. does it vary from person to person. When i was young i was watching car race movie.. Half way through the movie i wanted to puke.. and i left the theater. One of the reason i don't play any computer games.. Couple of years back i threw up literally while watching SAW. Yesterday i was watching Bourne supremacy.. i had to shut my eyes down for prolonged periods to complete the movie. It was a horrible experience. Anyone having this ? I think everyone has some. But mine is worst case scenario i guess.

I have motion sickness whenever I try to read something while travelling in a car. I also experience motion sickness when I sit in the opposite direction to the direction the car is travelling.

never heard of it :nervous: im sure there would be some way to over come it. obviously u would ve consulted a doc.. any more info ?
I have read some info on the net.. seems like subjective. Some don't have it.. some have it. One reason why i could never play fast paced computer games. I was playing L.A.Noir other day on PS3. Not much of fast screen movements. Still i had this giddiness.

umm ok how is this diff from sea sickness ?
Its all due to the same reason. Conflicting message sent to the brain from our vision on movement and the movement experienced by inner ear (or something like that). Why only some people experience it? I have no clue. :((

Nope.. my eyes have no issues. . ..
Okay good. Still get in checked. Motion picture are nothing more than fast moving stills, you probably knew that. I am just wondering if moving pictures are doing this to you.

May be you are one of those who gets too involved when you are watching movies. Why don't you try distracting yourself next time you watch a move? For example, while watching a move, have your laptop and post away in one of the many Sachin threads. :P

if it happens in all the movies.. i can do that. It happens only when i watch movies with fast shaky camera movements. Eg Saw, Blairwitch project, Bourne supremacy
