velu Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 What about dravid letting down the team in RSA??? you cant expect everyone to contribute all the time, otherwise dravid might be averaging over 100:icflove: but you cant find fault with dravid ie read what kaif said abt dravid vs aussies test match.. drvaid puts team first unlike teenda.. and my dear freind SachDan will agree with me here esp after his heros 100th 100:hatsoff:
saneindian Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 What's up with all these idiotic trolls suddenly coming here and insulting an Indian legend by using all sorts of names? There's a limit to it but to see every thread being derailed by the same trolls is disgusting.
vijay50 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Jayasuriya played till he was 42. I dont see any problem with Sachin continuing as long as his batting form is good along with his fielding.

And Dravid whenever he faced a quality bowling attack Most of the time it wa rest assured he would crumble eg playing against Wasim Waqar and shoaib he did nothing worth mentioning as Same when we toured Aus 99 WI 97 against walsh and ambrose And RSA recently... when the quality bowlers started retiring was the time he cashed in...

Dravid was good in facing swing and tendu when the bounce is true .. period

master22 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Whats this absurd name calling of sachin like midget, dwarf etc :whack:

You need to do better research before coming up with statements like that,he averaged close to 50 and scored 2 nineties i think.
Khalpat Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 this is where we disagree :sherlock: This is were we agree. But the matter of fact is the moment a player starts thinking about team, country, Maa and all emotional things, he will get out while batting. I dont know till what level guys discussing cricket have themselves played cricket but believe me when you are in the maidan-e- jung you only play every ball as per its merit, your skill and technique. Its not Lagan that Amir khan starts thinking about his mother and Champaner and will hit a six. Its not practically possible. This is the story on field. Even the guys who are fighting in the battle field army jawans they also fight as per keeping themselves safe till last moment because none of the war has been won by dying but it is won by killing your enemies in the same way, none of the match can be won by loosing your wicket but its won by staying their till last.So you will have to be selfish while playing and every player is selfish their is no exception. It is off field which determines whether they guy wants to play for the country , its team or for himself. As far as what I have followed this man, he doesnt seemed to be selfish off field.
germanrotweiler Posted March 25, 2012 Author Posted March 25, 2012 You need to do better research before coming up with statements like that' date='he averaged close to 50 and scored 2 nineties i think.[/quote'] prove me wrong... Maybe about the WI i might be wrong But 99 Aus and Pak he was a below avg player
master22 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 prove me wrong... Maybe about the WI i might be wrong But 99 Aus and Pak he was a below avg player Its actually better than what i told...an avg of 72,check out the link below http://static.espncricinfo.com/db/ARCHIVE/1996-97/IND_IN_WI/IND_IN_WI_FEB-MAY1997_TEST_AVS.html

master22 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Sorry about that.. but what about Aus and Pak 99 series Ya he was poor in those series.
CSK Fan Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 I thought you always considered Sachin a selfish player, one who played only for his records never caring about team's need etc..now I don't know why you are overemphasising on 100th hundred? wasn't it just another typical Sachin knock for you?! BTW you and your paki friends laugh at Sachin fans ( called Sachinistas where you go for @r l!(!ng) for their obsession with Sachin and defending him for anything & everything..and here you're spending all your time on threads on Sachin. Don't have anything else to offer other than trolling on those threads. You were nowhere to be seen when our team and Sachin in particular was in rollicking form. Now you're working overtime to take cheap shot at an Indian legend. Seriously what a fking loser you are! Yes he was never around when India was winnig, when we won the world cup etc.
CSK Fan Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 At least Rahul conquered England when all around him, including this "God" did bugger all. 3 tons against a top quality attack on green pitches. I met him at a bar after and my mate told him I was a big fan of his, our best test batsman, man for a crisis :hatsoff: He won the respect of the English too, one of the few players. Tindu flopped on BOTH tours, no wonder he took back entrance to some of the hotels on tour, man is a coward dwarf, not one for a crisis on and off the pitch :giggle: Sachin has conquered England and Australia multiple times before the last tour. Just becuase you have a memory of a gold fish in a bowl, doesnt mean that others do too. also in fact, that might explain your Sree obsession. You probably have a tape of Sreesanth in south Africa which you play in loops every night P.S. know you are just trolling but so am I :--D
CSK Fan Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 He is not even India's best test batsman' date=' let alone comparing with Lara. :finger:[/quote'] Everyone from Wisden, the best experts of the game, critics, current and ex-players all consider him just second after Bradman, but hey since someone with an avataar of the poster-child for ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) thinks otherwise, so it must be true

No tindu.
Sarkar Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Dravid 2006-10 poor form was still in the team without performing if i remember Sachin,s purple patch 2008-10 was a great period for him because he performed beyond expectations then where was this Dravid fans? . Dravid flopped in South Africa
Sarkar Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 you talk like as if whenever Tendu played in England he was a failure... ever time he went to England apart from the last series he was simply Brilliant... 193 headingley on a green top Debut century manchester on a seaming pitch. 177 Nottingham 1996
