Dhoni: 166 runs in 10 matches. SR: 116 2. Raina: 197 runs in 10 matches. SR: 120 3. Kohli: 192 runs in 10 matches. SR: 103 4. Manoj Tiwari: 149 in 9 matches. SR: 105 5. LEGEND Yusuf Pathan: 48 runs in 9 matches. SR: 96 6. McCullum: 81 runs in 6 matches. SR: 98 7. Pollard: 123 runs in 8 matches. SR: 135 8. Levi: 83 runs in 6 matches. SR: 114 its nothing about unrealistic expectations...when team wins its Ganguly, when a player played well its because of Gangulys inspiraional approach while team lost its Uttappa's sloww innings,bowling by Nehra,Kartik etc... because of this aproach from some others dont have any option other than highlight the reality :winky: everyone agrees Dada is a legendary Indian captian and player but this discussion is solely on IPL
dibyabttb Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Eh? Ganguly haters like to see things that way. No one denies that Ganguly's over costing 25 runs was as responsible as Uthappa's innings for the loss vs DC. I can't remember if anyone gave Ganguly the credit for Pune's win against Chennai or Kings XI

Rahul Sharma was a disappointment...style bhai was economical but failed to pick up key wickets....Samuels started the tournament well but then faltered...PWI's batting needs to fire... is Ryder fit again? Ryder's contribution was immense...pandey needs 2 come good I would pick Ryder, Clarke, Smith & Alfonso, if Ryder unfit play Tamim, Clarke, Smith & alfonso we need to get quick runs and use the 6 overs of the pp upfront .....I would open w/ Ryder & pandey or Tamim/Pandey and then float the batting depending on the situation agree
