And the blame is entirely on him for changing and chopping the batting way too often. Uthappa opens one day' date=' bats at 3-4 the other day before being asked to open again, then Pandey opens one day, scores a 80, flops in an innings, is out of the side, Alfonso your best t20 bowler suddenly is dropped for no reason, Kartik keeps coming in and going out of the side. Only one name is permanent on that team sheet :--D[/quote'] Yes, that is a fair assessment. Alfonso being dropped despite bowling well is a good point; so is the confusion as who will open - Uthappa or Pandey. You can blame Ganguly for that.

Then do not whine just by looking at the scorecard. He did a good consolidation job but played a few more dot balls as usual. To be blamed partly but not entirely. The team was at 47/4 and could not score 16 in the last 2 overs. Overall, piss-poor batting and this team is going nowhere. The only fun we are gonna have this year from now on is to laugh at the failures of others :((
 still man in t20 consolidation should be run a ball not scoring at strike rate of 50 ( i saw him hitting malinga straight down theground i was like wow ... then saw his over all score :(( he is too old for all this

I still have faith in this team...we will come back strong in our last remaining matches btw, what happens if we win all remaining matches? do we get to qualify for playoffs?
We will qualify if we win 5 out of 5. But it is out of question because I don't think we are going anywhere with this kind of batting.

a) Truly, he is too old for this. That is one reason his batting has gone down. b) Check out everyone else's scores; Franklin's SR of 108 is the highest among Mumbai. The point I am trying to make is, scoring at 100 SR wasn't so easy today.

Flop, sometimes pain to watch really while fielding and batting but still I don't think he is responsible for the state Pune is in.

He's his own man, so it's quite irrelevant. He can do whatever he thinks with his own life. The only reason there is some interest in the PWI team this year is SG is their captain. Otherwise Uthappa/or whoever would have been captain and there would have been no interest whatsoever.
no.he is dedicatedly Dona's man. But Dinda and Anustup is still in pune warriors team.

off course he's the pride of bengal...what other bengali cricketer has ever achieved whatever he has achieved....IPL is just fun cricket...I would any day take his contribution to Indian cricket over his supposed success in IPL

If the Pune Puppies had scored as many runs as the number of replies in this thread, may be they would have won more games. :hehe:
