It is shocking if you think that the other players in this team played well. They are simply as poor as Ganguly is. Only Steven Smith stands out, rest are utter SHYTE and would find it difficult to get buyers in the next auctions.
lol .. still man atleast they were not losing matches by bowling unneeded overs or batting at strike rate of well under 100

Since you're intent on talking like those trolls, END of discussion. There have been only 2 real close games; against RCB and MI.

Their strike rate is as bad as Ganguly's; if Ganguly bowled one bad over, he did bowl one good spell as well which helped win a match. You're too much caught up in herd mentality right now.

a) Ryder has done well only in two matches out of the ten-odd opportunities he has got b) Manish Pandey has played some atrocious shots everytime he has looked settled blowing up our chances. c) Thomas should've been given more chances instead of Parnell, and ditto for Tamim (and you can surely question the captaincy there). I liked Manhas's attitude far better than Pandey's; he's at least maximised his opportunities, though he has limited strokemaking abilities. Even when Pandey got his chances, he just blew them up apart from that one good knock. Finaly, this team surely lacks good players; too many incompetent, partly skilled cricketers hanging around. A COMPLETE overhaul is required, keeping Yuvi in the centre (next year).
Bro. It is T20, you cannot play like Ganguly. Pandey has to play in his style and aggressive that has been the problem with Pune. If Pandey wanted, he too could have played slow and steady without trying to play any shots. T20 is always hit and miss, but you still need to give confidence to players who are best equipped to make impact. Ryder and Pandey both are those players. They will fail time to time, but that is where captains come into play and you cannot drop a player after whole team failed. Those players will never be confident. Ryder at least played two match winning knocks. Ganguly does not have one. Pandey would only get better if he plays. It is all about temperament and pick and chose the ball to hit and that becomes difficult when one is getting just random chances rather than a regular. Two examples, look at Rahane and Mandeep. Both were nothing more than ordinary in previous seasons, but they are given confidence and security of their place. Rahane opened in all matches. He knew his position and was given license to express himself. They had nothing to lose. Same thing with Mandeep. I dont think Mandeep is more talented than Pandey, but since he has started opening, he has been a revelation and that happens when believes in his player. Pandey was dropped after his failure in his first match against MI against Malinga and even though they won that match which was a poor step in itself. Malinga can get the better of the best in the world. Then he was shifted to middle order, even to no. 8. This is not the way to treat your best upcoming young batsman.

^ RKT, its Pandey's own fault....he should have stayed with RCB [ i still give him benefit of doubt regarding money factor as anyone will feel bad when players like Pujara get 875000 ]... this is best time RCB must bring him back for next season...
