I mean you see your bowlers taken apart bowling the traditional way and then you see your batsmen trying to score against the likes of Ajmal who bends his elbow so much that he has to bowl in long sleeves :hysterical: Can't blame him really and I think we need to do the same ASAP else we will soon join the ranks of minnows. It's too huge a disadvantage to not look into. Yeah, he said it after the recent series in the UAE.

Every top team has a go-to bowler for picking wkts or restricting runs... Aus - Most of their pacers keep it tight SA - Steyn/Morkel/Philander Pak - Ajmal/Hafeez/Afridi (against minnows)/Gul (in T20s) SL - Malinga and earlier Murali Eng - Broad/Bresnan/Finn (generally their pacers are pretty good) WI - Narine (looks pretty good so far) We used to have Zak but he's done. We don't have anyone we can rely on even against minnows I don't think we can find genuine quicks so let's go with "if you can't beat them join them" philosophy and find chuckers. I mean we can also play the "genetic defect", "deformity" and "hyper-extension" card and TBH we would be fools if we don't do so.

Jaddu is a passenger but Rahul has hardly done anything to deserve criticism He looked our best spinner in Aus and always kept it tight. He got injured unfortunately (split webbing requiring stitches) and somehow wasn't picked again :dontknow: Rahul Sharma should be a certainty in odis as he has shown it will be difficult to target him and to score quickly against him.

BCCI needs to grow some balls and start fighting for its players instead of fighting on behalf of likes of Murali and Ajmal to get votes. Let Parmar chuck and let's see who calls him a chucker after we saw likes of Murali, Ajmal, Akhtar blatantly chuck for years.

N2-IE8oU30o Coz BCCI is an organization which actually selected Anirrudha Srikkanth in the Emerging Players squad when he couldn't even get into his state team :facepalm: As for ICF ppl out here show more enthusiasm for fast bowlers than the spinners. I say in today's cricketing world a chucker like Murali/Ajmal is lot more valuable than a fast bowler simply coz he can play lot longer, can bowl longer spells and will be effective on any pitch. Fast-track Parmar and more like him into the team ASAP and ask Parmar to switch back to Murali like action if he was asked to remodel it earlier. We have borne the brunt of chuckers for a long time and it's time we pay back teams in the same coin.

Murli chucks and the political consequences of banning him were too risky for the Australian University, Australia Cricket and ICC after he had already picked 300 wickets! And now the fecker Ajmal is following the same route. Either ICC get rids of th 15 degree rule or BCCI get this guy into international cricket. And this guy has the same exact action as Murli. Watch the videos. Ajaml, Murli, and Botha bend more than this guy.

And the sad part is that BCCI is the one which thought his action was suspect after he bagged wkts in his debut Ranji season!!! Why BCCI why??? How is it that Murali and co. can chuck their way to records and when it's one of our own who follows the same route he's reported and asked to remodel his action? I guess we are destined to be minnows as even going with the chuckers option has been ruled out by our own board

I have no doubt if Parmar had been a Lankan or a B'deshi BCCI would have fought tooth and nail to get him cleared to get that member country's vote. Oh well we are destined for mediocrity when the most feasible option has been closed. BCCi didn't do much to support Harbhajan regarding legality of his doosra and Bhajji was never the same bowler once ICC asked him not to bowl the same. First Bhajji and now Parmar. Well done BCCI!!! I hope you get a few more votes. After all who cares about the Indian team and Indian players :((
