Dont know about their marriage, but Sholay released in August 1975 and AB baby was born in Feb 1976.

It was taken for granted that Veeru will go to save Basanti, but no one was ever going to save Dhanno. When Basanti was singing and dancing jab tak hai jaan, poor Dhanno was left to all the horses. If you have not noticed, Dhanno was never showed in the film after that scene. Basati left on a train with Veeru, no one cared for Dhanno. That's what you get for being a loyal servant.

She was pregnant with Shweta :orderorder:
Shweta was born in 1974. Sholay was released in August 1975. Abhishek was born in February 1976 - do the maths.

The article is not wrong either. Actually, Sholay's shooting started in 1974, but Jaya became pregnant with Shweta and it started showing, hence the shooting had to be postponed till after the delivery. She was a big star at that time and so was her husband, so replacing her was out of question. The whole crew waited till she could resume shooting. However, she managed to get pregnant again before the shooting could end, but to the great luck of Sippy, they managed to finish the shooting before the pregnancy started showing again.

Very interesting. I wonder if even Ramu Kaka knew about this..
