England vs South Africa 2012

Recommended Posts

Boring boring cricket IMHO from both the sides today in the over hyped Eng-SA Test.Your thoughts? Either SA looks badly undercooked or they have no idea how to bowl in English conditions...... And lesser said about England, the better. They are in strong position right now but their cricket is boring, on a flat flat pitch guys like Trott and Cook are defending/leaving half volleys. I would rather watch Sehwag belting pacers on a flat pitch than this.

Yup this does look boring. If we had been there we would have entertained the crowd by getting bowled out by now.
Lol. But on a serious note, if Test Cricket needs to survive, then such high profile series should be entertaining. Otherwise this format has no future.

The teams won't give up their advantage just because they intend to entertain the crowd. If the crowd are watching Tests to see 4s, 6s every over or a RR of 4+, sorry then Test cricket is not for them. I wish we were this boring on our tours to Eng and Aus where even on flat pitches we failed to last more than 70 overs.

true after watching this im starting to think who fails more ? oour batting or bowling ?
Both but batting takes the cake. You can't blame the bowlers when your batsmen can't even last more than 70 overs on Day 1 on a decent pitch. Hell, over the last 2 Test series we didn't even have 1 session where we didn't lose a wicket!

Agreed, but what's testing my patience is the easy balls bowled by Saffers are being left by England batsmen, even Dravid would cream those balls for fours. England is just being too patient here.
