Name some players who made it regularly to the 14,15,16 squads without hardly getting a game???? I can think of Salil Ankola and WV Raman who regulalrly made it to our squads back in the day hardly getting any games. Manoj Tiwary seems to be another guy heading in the same direction. Also for Pak Wahab riaz seems to be a guy who hardly gets a game regularly despite being in the squad...I mean going by Pak's selection strategy benchmark of performing against India,his Mohali performance meant that he should have gotten far more games than he actually did....see Butt,Akmal,Shoaib Malik for example. I am sure WI and Aus squads of the past had some names....can you think of more???

Yup that was one of the weakest teams India has ever fielded. The likes of Jacob martin and kanitkar were in the squad along with Dravid and Laxman who were both way too slow that time. Dravid actually improved his odi batting once he started keeping wkts and bat at 5. In 99-00 he was way too slow and with likes of Laxman, Martin, Knitkar around our sole hope used to be Ganguly-SRT opening stand. If one of those two didn't score big we used to lose.
