Dravid_TheWall Posted April 13, 2012 Author Posted April 13, 2012 DTW ignored the most important part in my post, Sreesanth is yet to start bowling in the nets. Tried to roll his arm over a few times, felt some discomfort. RR should ideally declare him an injured player and ask for a replacement :P He is fit. Just case of fitness now. He has going to NCA nets and also has been very involved with the RR team. He is almost ready for comeback. Better to be completely fit than risk it.
Dravid_TheWall Posted April 13, 2012 Author Posted April 13, 2012 Only you are silly enough to think that he'll walk into the RR team. Nah, Dravid will bring him in the moment he is fit, you know nothing :giggle:
Dravid_TheWall Posted April 13, 2012 Author Posted April 13, 2012 As long as the joker doesnt play' date=' RR will do well[/quote'] Losing last 2 games and he hasn't played yet or we would have won this one today for sure. Likes of Tiwary, Bisla, Shakib would have been fearful if Sree had overs left.
Dravid_TheWall Posted April 13, 2012 Author Posted April 13, 2012 Sid Trivedi and Amit Singh are IPL winners, wonder what Sree has won in the IPL except for a few slaps from Bhajji :--D And lets not even talk of Sree bowling under pressure in the IPL. IPL winners :cantstop: Sree has MOM trophies from test series v top world class batsmen, 5 fors in Lankan flat decks, T20 AND ODI WC trophy and helped India be number 1 in tests. He has one of the best SR in ODI cricket and is a natural at tests compared to our other seamers. Our only seamer who Australia would have in their squad despite siddle, harris e.t.c
Magneto Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Nah' date=' Dravid will bring him in the moment he is fit, you know nothing :giggle:[/quote'] Dravid knows better. :giggle: He might maximum make him a waterboy and ask him to dance for the audiences during the ten-minute breaks. He's apparently learning juggling and all, so he can jiggle while juggling water bottles.
GautiMaan Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Losing last 2 games and he hasn't played yet or we would have won this one today for sure. Im being serious here DTW sree can be a good bowler for us in tests,but in odi's and t20's he does'nt seem to have the control necessary.And yes he can bowl a few marvel balls but they are very rarely seen.

I don't see how he is just a test bowler. He takes wickets in all formats. I want him to play all remainder of IPL because he can take wickets and with some subtle variations he can sort his economy out for T20.

Until then :finger: Also Dada, what a joke his batting in IPL, used to be fan, now he seems to get runs via french cut :hysterical:

Until then :finger: Also Dada, what a joke his batting in IPL, used to be fan, now he seems to get runs via french cut :hysterical: You finally had to resort to Dada digs, a player who were fond of :giggle: Height of desperation! I'll take a fotu of waterboy Sree and post it in his official thread :winky:

I'll take a fotu of waterboy Sree and post it in his official thread :winky: Dig is because Dada should really not be playing IPL anymore. Sad to see someone I rated so much being unable to now play big shots or even rotate strike. I am sure he will fire at some point but overall he will be pretty poor, I hope I am wrong. :icflove:
J P K Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 When will Santh be fit?in time for closing ceremony dance? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
J P K Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 That was funny :hysterical: He has been helping the team behind the scenes, but likes of Trivedi, Singh can't pick up the mastery of the master of swing and seam :two_thumbs_up: Also these useless seamers are not even sledging, getting under the batsmen's skin, Trivedi looked defeated as the commentators said. RR's and India's poster boy is needed on the pitch now too! no wonder they are bowling like shyte this time
someone Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 There are a lot of silly people around if they believe they have a perfect solution. Basically believe that they are better than those professional coaches who are paid and can actually see behind the scenes. There is no golden line up and the fact is cricket is not a simple game. You need to adjust based on the situation(such as sending different batsman based on different situations). RR have very well so far based on their ability and you would be a fool if you believe that as a fan you can think of some great solutions. This thread is totally based on hindsight, suddenly Chavan, Amit Singh is substandard despite still having a good economy rate. And about Sree, how can anybody rate him despite having such a poor stats in T20?
Executioner Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 hodge shud be at no. 3/4 I remember that in first few matches in BPL he got very few runs when guys like gayle and shehzad was firing but in the latter half of the tournament he scored a lot of runs, including their last league match where his team needed 160 of 15 overs and he was also the only batsman in the finals who scored a good amount of runs Owais shah at no. 3 is good enough. And either of dravid or rahane shud make proper use of field restriction. In ODIs, field restriction help batsman get boundaries by piercing the infield and in T20s field restricition shud be used to get the ball over the top of the fielders something these 2 failed to do
Sidhoni Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 The four foreigners shud be - Shah, Hodge, Tait, Cooper

Sidhoni Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 shah' date='hogg,hodge,cooper[/quote'] They need a good fast bowler and Tait can be more than just good. Ankeet Chavan is doing well as the spinner and he can be assisted by Hodge and Menaria
