JourneyMan Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 It's bad enough that the Chargers got rid of decent Indian players in previous auctions and ended up with a weak squad for the season, but what's even worse is that the coach seems to have no idea what he's doing. With all respect to Sanga, he's been a bit of a liability by taking up that 4th overseas spot and today when he didn't play, instead of strengthening the bowling attack by including Rusty Theron they decided to play Christian (another liability) instead. What's even worse was that it was a grassy pitch with a lot in it for the pacemen. Steyn was fantastic, as always, and with Theron coming in from the other end the Mumbai Indians wouldn't have known what hit them. Not only was Theron not picked, but the in-form Sharma wasn't picked either. Instead, we had to endure Amit Mishra being smacked for 14 runs in the penultimate over. Lehmann needs to be sacked immediately. He doesn't know what he's doing.

If you look at what he did closely he is not that genius that took RR and DC to the trophy in the first 2 years his contributions were minimal at best to those teams..... He should be smacked !!! Fecking idiot
