Number Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 I gotta say he lasted more than Dravid the wall or Laxman the dependable. Not like VIru has never scored in Australia. We shouldn't compare him to Dravid and Laxman who were/are pretty much finished. His batting in ODIs there pissed me more than tests. He was getting out to all sorts of deliveries full-toss, wide-ball in the off side, wide-ball in the leg side. Just hit a double ton in ODIs before that tour and was showing no intentions to playing a single good innings.

That is what worked for him for 8000 runs. What are the odds he is going to change that approach. Frankly i don't want him to change that. We just have to live with that blemish. Others have to handle when he is not stepping up.

Well, I feel in this IPL some of his innings he has played more sensibly than he did in any innings in Australia.
