Everyone was calling him all sorts of names. some genius even claimed him to be an FTB when he didn't even play 5 tests. Then he scored some runs and everyone was :hail: . Wait for 2-3 games , if he scores runs against **** bowlers in IPL and he'll be one of the best ever young batsmen in ages else more name calling to follow. That's indian fans in general. LOL im waiting for him to have a couple of bad games in international cricket, watch how the entire public and media - the same losers who were clapping his 183 - will turn against him big time his demeanor makes him an easy target for the millions of dickhead indians out there. they will unload on the kid because he doesnt have 'sanskaar', :hatsoff:
Precambrian Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Kohli reminds me of a young Ponting - same mould of clay - cursing, bad mouthing opponents, electric fielding and excellent batting - but smacked of immaturity. Till he got married and settled down and got nicely mentored by Steve Waugh. It is crystal clear Kohli is not yet cool over the neck. There is a diifference between aggressive brinksmanship and plain crassiness when it comes to overt antics on the field.

Manny_Pacquiao Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 it would b difficult to marry kohli off reasons: 1. dowry is too high 2. he has poor sanskaar and he isnt a gentlemanly brown noser. he needs to become more 'kulchurred'. 3. his 'maaarks' in skool werent that good, this is a totally undesirable trait in the world of indian arranged marriages so we will have to deal with his gaali galoj and selfish batting for a while :((

But as a player, I would never judge him through IPL, he did well in the CLT20 but he has never been a consistent T20 player unlike his ODI records. As per for the captaincy @excutionar You have got no BS idea about Gambhir so zip it up and tell me a single incident where he abused or shouted at his fellow Indian players, that might be how it works in BD (may be) not here. KKR has been doing good without your Shakib and they don't see a reason to change it after 5 wins in a row.

And what will any captain do when you have to divide 12 overs between Parameshwaran, Mithun, Syed Mohammad and Gayle on a super-flat track where even Steyn gets smoked. He took some chances (like giving Dilshan the ball) which backfired and made some errors. If seasoned captains like Vettori can make so many errors, a raw cookie like Kohli can be forgiven. We can only have an idea after he captains for 5-6 games at least.
