I would love to get Bala and Murali back from KKR and RCB. Now that would be an upgrade. I doubt those teams would ever let go those guys, however. OTH, Murali may not be that useful for us as we would find it very difficult to accommodate him in the XI.

The same guy Sehwag manhandled in the WC and the same guy who hardly does anything cometh a pressure game? :giggle:
IPL pressure doesn't equal WC pressure, hardly hear any of the established international players talk about pressure situations in ipl.

Anderson is not a great T20 bowler having played most of his matches in the favorable English conditions. Don't think he will prosper on pattas. CSK don't need major replacements. The squad is just fine, maybe, throw out Jaddu at the next available opportunity.

Yes, Jaddu seems about as useless as it gets. A waste of a spot.

In any case, your team should be fine. As a DC fan, I haven't got much to look forward to.

IPL brings its own pressure with franchise owners on your back after every game or poor performance. IPL is a business and even folks like Dravid & Laxman etc. were kicked out by their franchises when they weren't kicked out from Indian team :giggle:

Problem with DC is that they were just acting dumb during the auctions. Bid for all the top players and then stop increasing bid at some point. First step for DC, fire Lehman.

He better not be an Indian fast bowler or Dhoni will have a nice fixed spot for him in the reserves.Gambhir's faith on Bisla paid off, wonder why Suyal , Shami, Tyagi were not played even in one game.

I don't think teams like DC and RR are here to win the trophy. Just fill the numbers :dontknow:
I don't think you watched IPL 1 and 2.

Hear hear. Second step: sell Sanga, even if it's for one rupee.

Didn't both of these times win a IPL title already :hmmm:
Yes, but look at their team compositions now.

I think you didn't watch IPL 3, 4 and 5. When these two teams won the IPLs - they had far better teams. But now they are willing to trade their top players to other franchises for profit, without buying able replacements before they sell.

It happens in professional sports. Ups and downs are part & parcel of the game. If they don't start performing well they will lose customer base resulting in lost revenues through advertising & merchandising. Eventually they will need to work on their team to make money. Look at KKR. They even let Ganguly go coz they understood that as long as they put a better product on the field and perform, the supporters will be back. I guess Pune learnt the same this season and won't repeat the same mistake next year. Same with RR & DC.
