It will be interesting to see how is manifesto is follows. The good part is that (I have said this earlier on ICF too) NDA now has the majority and the mandate. In fact, if played correctly they can even get constitutional amendments done unless Rajya Sabha (they are in the minority there) plays spoil sport like in Rajiv Gandhi times?

In this instance, I saw a lie from party X hence I talked about X. Tomorrow it will be the Congress and day after it will be the AAP. The party which has more traction gets talked about. An issue always has a central organization. You tell me during the Coal/2G scams did you talk about BJP scams? Why? Because the topic was freaking Coal/2G scam. The conspiracy theory woven out of it is ridiculous. One poster (last month or so) went on to the extent of saying I am neutral when I am not and clearly have a political allegiance. It is these sort of dumb generalizations which make it pretty irritating to even have a sane discussion. Here I talked about a photoshopped tweet - if you ask me to ignore fine; but I can ask you to ignore my post as well. Where does it stop? Don't get worked up on perfectly sane comments. I repeat it again - I hope BJP supporters stop lying on social media. There is nothing wrong in this comment; to ask a group of people to stop lying.

NDA has very few numbers in the Rajya Sabha. You need to have a 2/3 majority and I feel it will be difficult at least till next year. Anways, we will see when that happens.

The people of Bihar are extremely aware of this fact. Secondly, he was exposed as an enormous hypocrite who continued with the NDA through Godhra and its aftermath and even made a speech praising Modi and his leadership once. The people of Bihar could easily see his grandstanding as a combination of hubris and a desire to get the Muslim vote. There was enormous anger on the streets of Bihar over Nitish's conduct much before Modi even campaigned in Bihar. What finally sealed Nitish Kumar's fate was his utterly shameful and reprehensible reaction to the blasts in the Patna rally of Modi. The composure with which Modi handled the situation turned even hard core supporters of NK to the BJP.
