Yet another actor adept at playing the victim card. Just for a loss of 40-60 cr he is denouncing India and Indian secularism. This in spite of the fact that it is the people of India who have made him a superstar. Absolute traitor. He should migrate to Pakistan, or better still Sri Lanka. Eh!! Didn't I like mention that wasn't supposed to be a serious post.

Why did he agree for the cuts when Censors have cleared it ? You can ask for a secular state when you stay true to your ideals and not try to appease any section. And yes, the movie sucks. Hassan with all his talent, misses big time.
Ram Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 not memorable or engaging to any extent. he has to stop writing scripts first. storytelling is not everyone's forte.i was sceptical for the same reasona nd my worst was confirmed. . I am amazed how our filmmakers cannot discern or borrow even a simple formula employed by Hollywood movies. create three/four major gripping scenes. it surely cannot be explained by budget limitations! they have to think hard. this story just limped towards a climax with no adrenaline rush or anxiety. the dialogues were not interesting enough.To have a hit, the dialogues have to be memorable and engaging, even if there is no punch lines rajni style. the intensity of confrontation can also work.(as in case of singam or VV) but it was lame here. you cannot compromise on the script. the presence of weak American actors made the movie look amateurish because americans were playing a major role in some action here.this was not the right movie to try that BS. the film may simply work for sometime because of the sleek presentation. Some very astute observations there. :nice: The only thing I want to add is that our barometer to judge this movie should not be the masterclasses that come out of the West. This movie stands no chance in front of them. But if we compare it to some of the other stereotypical gibberish that the Indian film Industry typically doles out, then the difference is night and day. Sure, the execution may have been botched and amateurish (at times), but at least the intent to make serious cinema is there. Just as an example, some of the action sequences involving the terrorists and American soldiers were pretty ground-breaking, in my view.
