I don't rate Tiwary but he can do something Rohit can't. He can nurdle and get starts. Plus he got a ton recently and should get a chance. Rohit gets too many low scores. Irfan is a waste to me. Can't really bowl and his batting is ok but we don't use him as a pinch hitter so no point. I remember he scored 80 odd once batting at 3 v SL.

Yeah I agree that what Gauti scored is still good. But think of it this way. The top order collapsed around him, what hope was there for the lower order once Ashwin went. I think Ashwin dismissal was turning point. At this point, he should have kept most the strike, and either dealt in two's or boundaries. He should have told the other guy to stick it out and score single to get off strike only. That is what I would have done.

he bowled well today imo much better then zaheer and yadav tiwary desevs a chance he will get a chance but he will faill rahane ,pujara should be in team.. keep in mind net world cup is in australia

If we go with likes of Rahane & Pujara chances are we will be more stable but won't score 300+ which will still result in a loss based on our bowling It's like Devil's Alternative and you have to pick your poison :((

they will score winning totals on green tracks and why are u forgetting rest of line u p?it will have yuvraj,raina , dhoni enough firepower imho remember cb series sehwag crap,rohit crap, gautam, kohli performed raina another cricketer with so called flair flopped chances of getting 300 with this line up are next to zero

Gambhir simply was not good enough, he got out the moment he tried to hit out after setting up powerplay..that shows that if he tried to hit out earlier we would have been all out for under 100 and would have lost by 10 wkts.

raina is doing fair job also rohit cant really take singles ..finishing is not jsut about boundaries from singles i meant rotate strike at will like ms and raina normally do
