Old guy Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 to me this ravikant seems to have some potential for some reason i like his bowling :P
surajmal Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 considering the trundlers they trotted out in the last u19 wc, this wc is already a win. Even Sharma was mediocre piss last time around and he seems to have improved a lot with still room to grow pace wise. If Yadav and Pissant Sharma can grow a brain, India maybe able to field a decent fast bowling rotation in the near future.
Ultimate_Game Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Too many no-balls from Ravikant Singh. Against better teams we can't afford to gift these freebies and hope he improves before the next game.

CoverDrive Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 ravikant can put a bit more effort in his action.

If we had played the same combination in the first game we may well have beaten WI. Now if we could only get the batting order sorted out.

rkt.india Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 He has a bowling action similar to Ryan Harris and better than both Passi and Sandeep.
jind Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 considering the trundlers they trotted out in the last u19 wc' date=' this wc is already a win. Even in the last WC, the likes of Harshal Patel and Unadkat were bowling 130+. I like the basics of Ravikant Singh. Probably has the better bowling action - fluid and an action which is useful for pacers once he gains a bit more strength. Somewhat like a Tyagi or Ishant
Old guy Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 He has a bowling action similar to Ryan Harris and better than both Passi and Sandeep. agree with he is better bowler but im honestly bad at comparing actions :P just hope he does not gets injury problems of harris but one thing im sure about this guy will gain some pace

rkt.india Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Yomahesh was the fastest U19 bowler I have seen from India who bowled up to 87 mph in 2006, consistently quick, but his progress stalled after that. Unadkat and VRV Singh both come second.
Old guy Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Harris' problem is his body. not bowling action. why so serious

rkt.india Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 that as 135K by Ravikant. This guy has potential to be quicker in the time to come.
rkt.india Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 The only time I saw Yomahesh bowl was in 120s :cantstop: I guess you did not watch U19 World Cup in 2006 in Srilanka. He was real prospect, but as it happens to most Indian fast bowlers, they lose their way.
