Wonder what would all of our reaction be , if a person we knew quite well for sometime ( say 6-7 months) suddenly disclosed to us that they were gay/lesbian.

I am bored sh*tless... A bit like the week before the end of the semester when motivation and enthusiasm run at all time lows... This has to be slowest summer for me, ever. No assignment this semester, no classes, and no woman. I fear i might lose my sanity. Just last week i spent over 30 hours online, most over here... What must i do?

Post more, THX. Bring forth on your concept of life, work..love. Write a book. Pen some chapters. Read a good book. Listen to some music. Eat some good food. Drive to the lakes or the sea. Take ICF on laptop with you. Get quoted. Start a trend. Start a company. Do nothing. Just be gloriously lazy while you have the chance.

Read about free-market medicine :-D I am teaching this summer, but I feel like summer school is such a waste of money for students. I would love to convert my employer into a year-round college, so students can pay regular tuition rather than inflated tuition during the summer, graduate in < 3.5 years and get out into the real world. And pay faculty for 12 months, not 9. As is, the system is a waste - I think it is just made for faculty who want to travel and have a good time 3 months of the year.

ok so today's achievement: 3 hours of star craft; watched three movies: Disturbia, The Other Boleyn Girl, and Goya's Ghosts (as is evident, i have a thing for Natalie Portman) read Sam Harris's "End of Faith" and taught some kids how to sketch... and now, its 4am, and i cant sleep... need something to do. (hindsight: never break up with your girl before the start of summer)

So bored that I have started reading email forwards from people whom I called friends years ago A PhD graduate and an ordinary man went on a camping trip, set up their tent and fell asleep. Some hours later, the ordinary man woke up his PhD friend: "Look up at the sky and tell me what you see?" The PhD man replies: "I see millions of stars." The ordinary man asks: "What does that tell you?" The PhD guy ponders for a minute: "Astronomically speaking, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, it tells me that Satan is in Leo. Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three. Theologically, it's evident the Lord is all-powerful and we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. What does it tell you?" The ordinary man is silent for a moment, and then speaks: "Practically........it tells me that someone has stolen our tent". Be educated in the right way and not go beyond the boundaries!
