THX_1138 Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Hey guys, since i am going to graduate this fall my brother who is incidentally in India brought my attention to the joint entrance examination for the Indian Institutes of Management. I was wondering if any of you blokes know where and when (november from what i read on the net) is this examination conducted. And can i take this exam here in the united states? p.s. apologies to the moderators for a selfish and irrelevant thread but i cant seem to find a decisive answer on the net.

Its not an online exam , and i havent seen even a single instance where students outside have written it in their country. If you want to write CAT , you better go to India. This year it is to be held on Nov 18 and you will be assigned a center as per the details you give them.

Gambit Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 If you have been outside India for more than 6 months in the past year and were not in India during the CAT exams, you can apply to the IIMs,ISB and other institutes through your GMAT score. This is for Indian citizens.
