Topley has a bowling action like James Franklin. You wonder Indian team won against these good fast bowling attacks of England, Australia and even NZ in quadrangular series and Unmukt had 100s against both the teams where even Cummins was playing.

yeah india played well and won the series. But i was thinking if these were to go into the English team where there is already finn,meaker,broad. uff there is abundant fast bowling talent in England now.

They had nothing in mid to late 90s and early to mid 2000s bar few. Most were trundlers and swing bowlers, but their systemic planning is brewing fruits now.

I'm sure the reason is, the bowler in india who gets the wickets is drafted in the team, even if he is a trundler, and a quick bowler even if he manages some less wickets, there is no coach in india who judges the potential than the results . But in other countries, PACE is also a criteria, guys with pace are encouraged and given the environment where they can improve their skills and be even more dangerous. If it was not for IPL, umesh would be nowhere near the team and we would have been dealing with the likes of vinay kumar forever.

Hi, you are back so it has been a year now ,so what about the great english team you were advocating dominating world cricket .
i was around, but dint post much since, my passion is fast bowling, and nothing excited me recently as did this guy jamie overton.... english team is still the number 1, do you have doubts ?

problem with indian bowlers is that they dont possess height, which to me is a great advantage to have. Generally indians are shorter than the other nations around. in our team sandeep sharma, sayyed, passi all our short in height, and neither have lot of pace, easy pickings.

from whom? Ravikant? Dont know why they did not pick Brainder Sran from Punjab left arm pacer with pace and swing, 19. Aakash Chopra had some good words for him.

you can't be serious dude!! dont go by these videos, and small clips , they are too few to judge. He might be nippy but dont expect a 16yr old to be a tearaway!!!
