was thinking Utd went with a funny looking 1st XI- even if Valencia and Carrick were enforced changes, Cleverey is a central mid right not a winger- Young could have started out wide with Nani on other flank, and apprently Kag/Roon were good up front it seems so Welbeck could have sat it out and Perhaps it should have been Anderson and Cleverley in the middle...

Agreed. Welbeck was just not able to get things right. Maybe they will give RVP a place in starting XI instead of Welbeck from next match onwards.
