Raghav_12 Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 There have been some discussions around T20 captaincy of India. Well I believe that there is hardly anything that captain do in a T 20 match. It is more about luck and moments for brilliance from one or two players. On the other side, I believe test results are better indicator of a captains performance. He has more time to strategize and to experiment with things. His leadership would be more required when team is going through a rough, demoralizing phase in the match. So I want people opinion on what do they think, is better indicator for a captain's performance - Results in T20 matches or Results in Test Matches. PS - Please don't take it as Dhoni bashing thread as he anyways sucks on both counts.
saneindian Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Dhoni has a better test record as a captain than as a T20 captain :P Will thate make him a better test captain than a t20 captain?

Sandeep99 Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 I voted for Tests...but yeah T20s too need some skill! Dhoni sucks in both these formats...
ganeshran Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 He is good in Limited overs matches, not in tests
G_B_ Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 test matches obviously. T20 all that matters is the cup.
Raghav_12 Posted September 13, 2012 Author Posted September 13, 2012 He is good in Limited overs matches' date=' not in tests[/quote'] My question was not related to MS Dhoni if you understood so. I meant, which format is better judge for somebody's captaincy skills - T 20 or Test matches?
Crookbond Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 I don't think there is a fixed answer to this.
