The gap between the poor and rich has been ever increasing for the past decade or so and it's going to get worse. As far as the bastards are concerned, blame their parents also. Most couples are "physically" ready to have kids but not "mentally". Saale sab ke sab pehli raat se shuru ho jaate hai. They have kids without realizing/knowing the responsibilities of parents. Phir bacche ko boj samajte hai aur kuch sikhate nahi. Agar bachpan mein kuch acche vichar sikhaye hoge to ye din dekhne ke liye nahi aata. They should be held responsible also. Saale andhe hai sab ke sab.

Blame the society as well if you may because the reason for getting married at most places is age and not maturity. 25 saal ka hogaya shaadi toh karni chahiye - if that's the social pressure created you are obviously going to have couples who are in it for the heck of it as a ritual.

Absolutely I blame both of them to a certain extent. If you think about it though, if people are not matured at age 25, then it will take them a really long time to get matured. That's why most parent "force" them to get married. They know their kids are not mature and yet they still force them. Dono ki zindagi barbaad karte hai.

Isn't there a proverb in Gujarati which goes along the lines of - If you won't mature at 20, you never will. :hmmm:

I agree with you that in India that people are not mentally or financially ready to have kids but I don't think crimes have anything to do with it.Crime rate is not something which is abnormally high in India ,infact it is on lower side.

How many women in India report the case of harassment in India? It's easier to report a case in the US than in India. There are many cases of harassment filed in the US and it's not only physical harassment. The reason why you find so many crimes in India is because of the lack of education. Not just school education, but education from their parents. Most of the people you see in today's society are not goal oriented. They keep making the same mistakes over and over again thinking that after this amount of time, I will stop this or I will change, etc. Some people are able to change while for others, the habits turn into addiction and people never change. If people were goal oriented from a young age, ( for example before I die, I want to achieve this! I want to travel the world or I wanna be the best in anything good as I can be, or anything positive), then they will never find the time to indulge in this crap. If he has a goal with "full conviction" then it's not hard for him/her to stop himself. But then again, most parents are happy feeding bollywood crap or saas bahu serials at a young age.
Crookbond Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 ^ TBF, Blaming your parents also has an expiry date.
Laaloo Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 ^ TBF' date=' Blaming your parents also has an expiry date.[/quote'] Absolutely. There was a I time when I used to blame my parents for many things in life. I was young, immature. I never saw the view from their sides and what they had been through. Thankfully, I have realized this and see things a lot more differently now. Life is a great leveler. Thokar khaane ke baad hi logo mein samaj aati hai. There are people in this world who blame everything but themselves for whatever problems they are in. And then there are people who "change" or realize after their parents are on their deathbed or if they are about to die. Phir samshaan mein jaa ke rote hai, kaash meine aap ki pehle se baat suni hogi.
