Its amazing to see how many people from a variety of backgrounds go on to represent England.In recent years , we can think of Ramprakash, Ronnie Irani , Nasser Hussain , Owais Shah , Sajid Mahmood , Monty Panesar etc. Ofcourse I havent included the many Scots and Irish who have played for england. Latest addition to this list is Dmitri Mascarenhas His parents are Sri Lankan. Its tribute to how multicultural the English society is , that they have included so many players of a non-english background in their cricket team. The public also seem to not have any problems with it. Link to comment
