great siri Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Srilanka are screwed once Sanga and Jaya retires. Their talent level is pretty low' date=' I won't be surprised if they decline badly like West Indies and New Zealand.[/quote'] one just need to visit our country to see what type of excellent talent we have in our country.in the apartment where i reside even eleven twelve yrs old kid can bowl better and faster than current indian fast bowlers.yesterday i saw a bowler who was regularly turning balls at 45 degrees.
great siri Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Excellent fightback by the great sir thilan samaraweera.what a great innings under pressure that too carrying a injury.is easily in the same league as dravid n laxman.

Agree there's plenty of talent in sl in terms of batsman and spinners, but fast bowling is a worry.

Magneto Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 On a serious note, what is happening with the balls used in the match? Read this comment on Cricinfo - BJ: "Did they just find the cheapest new balls they could find? I don't think I've EVER heard of a ball changed required 4 times out of 4 within the first 10 overs of use." :hmmm:
Number Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 ^ :hysterical: Remember recently in SL, during Pak-SL ODI because of no power back up, they couldn't have more than 1 camera working so they had to telecast the game for some 15 overs with 1970 style single camera for both ends. :cantstop:
