Rohit S. Ambani Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 We have senseless captain, who can't bat in tests. Useless overhyped player dictates his term on selection, pitch. Australia refresh is a very strong team. They will whitewash India.
indiaregulator Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 No they won't. Pattinson is not good enough yet. Siddle is a hack. 100% for enthusaism though. Hilfenhaus is alright. Harris is dead. Starc is too young. Cummins has died again. Lyon is rubbish. Create rank turners, watch the Aussie batsman crumble. Watch Nathan Lyon do absolutely nothing.
SLICKR392 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 We won't whitewash them neither are they gonna whitewash us.
NareshK Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 The strategy from now on(as has been the case for a while) will be to prepare flat pitches so India can pile on 600/5 declared. Then put pressure on other team to get 20 wickets. If they cant, match will be a draw. If India lose the toss and other team makes 500, try to draw the game. No question of turning track or helpful pitch for some time. It would be asking too much from our batting maharathis to apply themselves and respect the bowlers.:giggle: So it wont be 4-0 for either sides. Maybe 1-1 or 1-0.
jairamesh Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 In this series, selectors need to go for broke and promote India A players.
mastana Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Nope ek test to jeet hi lenge hum. :giggle:
Eternal Atma Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 We will beat England and Australia. Aussie bowling attack will struggle in India and Lyon should be easy to play.
Crookbond Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 One Test match in a bad position and people sway from a 4-0 England whitewash in our favor to 4-0 Australia whitewash in their favor.
R.D forever Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 No they wont. England was always going to be a threat with swann and panesar. Lyon :hysterical:
Pagalpanti Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 By the time we play Aus we'll be close to having a settled line up with passengers out of the team.
SLICKR392 Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 No they wont. England was always going to be a threat with swann and panesar. Lyon :hysterical: Just like our team stop underestimating other teams & players. We'll do fine. Lyone is way better than Samit Patel who got a fifer against us.
phaedrus Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 the aussies are much better players of spin than the Poms. Even though they dont have the spinners i get the feeling they are going to be much tougher to get out.
Needforspeed Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Too many passengers in this Indian team. A total cleanup is required.
Chalks Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Not a huge fan of Robert Craddock usually, but this is a good article imo: http://www.news.com.au/sport/cricket/a-tale-of-captains-old-and-new/story-fndpt0dy-1226523798953 Yes, SRT does seem to have a "Gold Pass", whereby he cannot be dropped no matter what. This is just one of many things that is holding Indian cricket back - selectors don't have the guts to tap him on the shoulder lest they upset the "Effigy Burnings R Us" set. Aussie selectors will make the call on Punter if he doesn't - they didn't hesitate to call time on his ODI career, and you would expect something similar re: Tests if he doesn't score in Perth. There is this romantic notion of him returning to England next year and playing in an Ashes-regaining team as the exclamation point to his career, but more often than not things don't work out like that.
NareshK Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 In England, only Cook and KP are good against spin. Australia have Warner, Watson, Hussey, Clarke.
SLICKR392 Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 In England' date=' only Cook and KP are good against spin. Australia have Warner, Watson, Hussey, Clarke.[/quote'] Watson can't play on pitches that stay low and Warner's a myth, he isn't gonna be as consistent as a Hussey or Clarke.
Tiger80 Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 No they wont. England was always going to be a threat with swann and panesar. Lyon :hysterical: Don't worry we will make sure some new legend is going to be born in India
Jersey #10 Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Don't worry we will make sure some new legend is going to be born in India legends are reborn here... please make way for Sachin version infinity.
