Sean Bradley Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 An ordinary Test player can only make an ordinary test capitan. Dhoni a phenmenol one day player, captained us to the World Cup win after 28 years, but has just not set the foot right in the longer version of the game. He just doesnt understand the game of Test Cricket, doesnt read the game as well as he reads the odi's or T20, make bizzare team selections, cant lead the team from front as he doesnt have the technique to play a test match knock. Low on confidence, but whats with this lack of self respect?? Captaining a test side is not a stroll in the park, in past we have seen captains who couldnt suceed in test matches to have passing the mantle to the next successor's. Be it from Sangakara to Jayawardene, Michale Vaughan to Andrew Strauss, and in the recent past, Dhoni's opposite number, Andrew Strauss to Alistair Cook. With a recent record of 8-0 away from home and, an ordinary captaincy, call for turning tracks in media, bizzare selection of harbhajan singh, and his own poor test batting are an indication of his incompetency at this level. But dhoni thinks he is "INVINCIBLE".
jairamesh Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 I am still pissed at selection of Bhajji, this smacks of cuddly-buddly feeling.
