special K Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Yeah let's discount those facts and just include the last 15 years. We've won more tests against you in the last 18 months then you could muster against us between 1996-2011.
maniac Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Yeah let's discount those facts and just include the last 15 years. We've won more tests against you in the last 18 months then you could muster against us between 1996-2011. Beating a team in a rebuilding phase with a mixture of newcomers and aging stars doesn't count...No one rates beating WI anymore...even Aus is a shell of what they were....No denying Eng has got a team with the right combination of youth and experience atm...doesn't take away the fact that they pretty much England sucked in the last 15 years no matter what combination they tried . Maintain the same level of dominance against India for atleast 5 more years and if You and I still exist on this forum,we will talk until then enjoy the success but for f***s sake stop with the annoying trolling. When we were good,we had No1 rankingsand world championships to show for...Eng is not even No1 in test cricket leave alone other formats where they have been perrenial whipping boys. We ran Aus and SA in their peak close..Eng are still an improving test side and average LOI side who are having a good run against India, that's it.
special K Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Well since Engalnd were crap in the 90's I'm not counting it just like you guys aren't counting. Discard it all you want. India have brownwashed England once in the early 90's. That's it. You've never thrashed us at home other then then. We sent a depleted team to India in 06 and drew a series when all your legendary batsmen were at their peak. Engalnd have always for the most part been the better test team. We've won twice as many tests as you guys 40 wins to Indiai's 20. Those stats don't lie. Take away India's little glory period between 2000 - 2011 and you've been a decent team at home and diabolical away. England have always had a strong test side the exception of the mid 80's to 2000 when we were bad.
